Hello and welcome. My name is Spencer Pierce, an APC-eligible counselor. I am a queer and trans affirming clinician looking forward to working with you. I work with individuals ranging from young adults to seniors focusing on life transitions, identity, trauma, grief, depression and anxiety. The fact that you are here tells me that you are ready to take action towards change, and that is great news. I would be honored to walk with you as you take steps to heal and discover your purpose.

You can find me at the intersection of humanistic, person-centered, and narrative therapeutic techniques. This means collaboration is central to my therapeutic philosophy. Prioritizing connection and authenticity, I believe this level of relating allows for honest communication which leads to healing. Drawing from a variety of therapeutic modalities, we will work together to develop a plan that will meet your specific goals.

Utilization of transformative methods including mindfulness, meditation and breathwork are important to my technique. Through the practice of somatic skills, we create space where intuition and awareness may enter. When that happens, we discover our needs and begin to understand how to meet them.

Spencer can bill as an in-network provider with Aetna, BCBS, and Taylor Benefits, and is currently out of network with all other insurance plans. We can provide you with documentation to submit for out of network reimbursement. His standard session rate is $140, with some sliding scale spaces available in an effort to remove financial barriers to treatment. Align Wellness's sliding scale spots are prioritized for trans and BIPOC clients, and those living in rural areas. Spencer's work at Align Wellness is under the clinical supervision of Anne Marie Dine, LPC and Melanie Storrusten, LCSW.
